“Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” course has been held at “Garant” lyceum in Lysychansk within the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project. In the Lyceum, the children have their own photo studio, radio station and computer class, where they can master modern professions. Each student is dreaming of a peaceful, successful and happy future. To improve psycho-emotional state of 14 high school students and teach them how to cope with fear and stress caused by the military actions in Eastern Ukraine, the psychologists were teaching the children self-help techniques. The therapy sessions were conducted by Svitlana Skarga and Tetyana Fastova.
The funds for the therapy in Luhansk region were raised during “Gala of HOPE” charity concert held in June 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland. It was organised by “HOPE worldwide Zurich” and “u l t r a S c h a l l” ensemble.
