In March 2016 the volunteers of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation continued to hold trainings for school students within “Peer to Peer” project.
On March 10, 2016 the volunteers from “Peer to Peer” project held training for 9th grade students in Specialised Ivan Franko Secondary School (Kyiv, Tarasivska st., 11). Over 35 students took part in the event. Children got a chance to get to know each other better while playing “My friends would say that I am…” game and learn how they evaluate themselves through positive qualities. They also did a “Circle of Life” exercise and talked about their lives from different perspectives.
On March 11, 2016 the volunteers held two meetings and one training with 9th grade students in secondary school #33 (Kyiv, Volodymyrska st., 79-b). Together with children they discussed the topic of “Active and Passive Listening”. The teenagers concluded that dialogue is the most effective way of communication that helps to reach mutual understanding and find common ground. Over 20 students participated in the meetings.
