On October 6-8, within the framework of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, a practical seminar was held for future trainers of the “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” program. The event took place in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. In a wonderful atmosphere of involvement, unity of purpose and a desire to help children and their parents, 22 participants got acquainted with the theory and practice of war trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, learned to cope with stress, obsessive memories, fears, losses, working through all the techniques and exercises personally to share your experience with others later. According to the participants, it was useful, interesting, fun and deep. Thank you, our dear trainers – Irina Sukhova, Natalya Podolyak and Elena Bozhor – for your invaluable experience and amazing work!
