On Saturday, July 19, the volunteers from our Foundation gathered in the hall of Kyiv Nursing Home for Labor Veterans (Kyiv, Zhukova st., 2). They were talking cheerfully and preparing something. A tender aroma of fresh coffee and first sounds of music interested the residents of the nursing home. “What is happening here?”, they asked. “We are going to have an art-therapy workshop”, answered one of the volunteers. “Therapy? What kind of therapy” – “Yes, an art-therapy – treating diseases with art. Come join us and you will see for yourself”. The first art-therapy workshop was conducted in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Smiles, joy and satisfaction were the results of the event.
