The “Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy course for children, traumatized by military actions in Eastern Ukraine, and their parents took place in Odesa on March 10 within Phase V of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project.
Three therapy sessions have already been held, and 12 children and 6 adults practiced different techniques of overcoming the consequences of post-traumatic disorder. The work with the parents is conducted in a way that they could assist their kids to master the newly learned skills and knowledge at home. The program is held in the premises of the hostel for IDPs (Chervona St., Odesa).
