From March 24 to 26, the trainers of our <\/span>\u201cHelping Hand for Ukraine\u201d<\/span><\/i> project conducted an inspiring training for young volunteers, in partnership with the Christian charity foundation <\/span>\u201cVAV Better Future\u201d<\/span><\/i> <\/a>\u2014 our loyal friend and colleague for the third year in a row.<\/span><\/p>\n

18 participants, most of them from resilient and heroic Zaporizhzhia, took part in the <\/span>\u201cChildren and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques\u201d <\/span><\/i>training. This experience was not only professional but also deeply personal \u2014 we worked through our own traumas in order to better understand the pain of others and to stand beside those in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe in the power of collaboration. Together with the <\/span>VAV Better Future<\/span><\/i><\/a> foundation, we continue to build bridges of trust and service. Last year we:<\/span><\/p>\n

trained and certified 39 volunteers,<\/span>
\n<\/span> conducted 38 groups as part of the <\/span>\u201cChildren and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques\u201d<\/span><\/i> program.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, our joint work is expanding:<\/span><\/p>\n

Supervisory support from experienced project supervisors,<\/span>
\n<\/span> A series of webinars on psychology and trauma therapy \u2014 to enhance the qualifications of those on the frontlines of emotional support.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together, we are not just organizations. We are a <\/span>community that believes<\/b> that even in the darkest times, God works through the hearts and hands of those who serve others.<\/span><\/p>\n

We thank everyone who was with us during these three days. May the suitcase of knowledge and support you carry with you become a foundation in your service to children and families in cities devastated by the war against Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n
