A 3-day training for volunteers took place on March 18-20 in Vinnytsya within the frames of “Peer to Peer” project. Three trainers from Kyiv – Snizhana Volokh, Vitaliy Hlobenko, Andriy Shadkov – trained volunteers-trainers from Vinnytsya how to work with the next module of the program for teenagers “Your Life – Your Choice”.
The module “Your Life – Your Choice” focuses on defining life values and forming responsible attitude to own life. Within the module, the participants of the training discussed the issues of prevention of smoking, alcohol and drug indulgence among teenagers.
The training was dynamic; teamwork and many tasks enabled each participant to polish their training skills on practice. All three days were fully productive and interesting!
Here is the feedback from participants:
“The training was very cool. It was not similar to boring lectures, information about serious topics was presented in easy way. My 9-year old daughter who was present at the training, decided never to smoke, drink or use drugs”. Tetyana Hrushko
It was simple, interesting and fun! You provided us with tools how to build relations with teenagers, how to influence them. It would be cool to learn how to present information the way our trainers did. Thank you for teaching, inspiring and energizing with optimism”. Anna Makarenko
“I liked every part of the training! There were a lot of useful information and funny games. Documentaries about harmful effect of alcohol, tobacco and drugs impressed me and provoked speculations about these global problems of humanity. Thank you very much for the training and great time! I am looking forward to our next meeting”.
