Traditionally, in December, a nationwide campaign “Feed the Birds in Winter” started in Ukraine, which was founded by the State Agency for Forest Resources of Ukraine. The purpose of the action is to place feeders in parks and squares of settlements, as well as on the territories of schools and preschool institutions. Of course, such a wonderful initiative was also supported by our friends from the State Enterprise “Vishchedubechansky Lysgosp”. For which many thanks to them! After all, they made and provided feeders for the volunteers of our charitable foundation, who, in turn, also joined the action with pleasure. Katerina Kovtun, a volunteer of our foundation and a primary school teacher at school No. 196 in Kiev, wrote about this on her Facebook page: “Winter is a wonderful time of the year, but, unfortunately, not for everyone. This is a difficult time for wintering birds. In winter, the day is short, and in order to survive, not to freeze, the birds fly closer to human habitation. In order to instill in children a caring attitude towards nature and a desire to help our feathered friends, students of the 3rd grade, together with the Charitable Foundation “Hope around the World” and the State Enterprise “Vishchedubechansky Lysgosp”, held the action “Feed the birds in winter”. It has already become a good tradition to hold this action every year! Let it be tasty and cozy for the birds in winter!”
