On August 13, the volunteers of “”HOPE worldwide Ukraine”” held the first creative art workshop within the frames of the “”Create for Benefit”” project at Kyiv Nursing Home for Labour Veterans (Kyiv, Zhukova st., 2). The aim of the project is to discover talented participants who could make handmade goods for sale.
15 participants were involved in this amazing and creative process and four of them managed to do the task with high quality. Out of the handmade things we chose a poppy flower brooch and a headband made of 7 poppy flowers.
Also participants of the workshops decided to make several souvenirs and give them as presents to each other during celebration of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
