On June 4, in Kiev, within the framework of the project “Helping Hand for Ukraine”, the course “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” was completed for IDP families and families with difficult life circumstances. Coaches of the program Alexey Sukhov and Svetlana Fesik worked with the parent group, Marina Ivanenko and Olga Shikalova worked with the children’s group. Each participant took his personal struggle and his “ladder of fear”, because each has its own history and traumatic events related to the war or the difficult living conditions that they had to face. Step by step, the participants overcame their own way out of stress and anxiety, “looked into the eyes” of their fears and obsessive memories. And there are a lot of victories and excellent results, and the backpack of knowledge has been replenished with new self-help practices! Congratulations to all with the end of the course and we hope that the acquired skills will add you ease, freedom and confidence in life! Special thanks for cooperation express the Podolsk regional organization of the Red Cross of Kiev! Thank you for your warm and caring heart!
