On August 06, the team of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” volunteers held a poetry evening in Kyiv Nursing Home for Veterans (Kyiv, Zhukova st., 2).
The volunteers were warmly received by the residents of the nursing home. 16 elderly came to meet with communicate with them. Thanks to nice weather the program was held outside.
The participants recited poems of Oleksandr Blok, Taras Shevchenko, Lina Kostenko and also Vira Petrakova, one of the nursing home residents. The meeting took place in friendly atmosphere.
