November 28-29, 2018 in Odessa, within the framework of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, supervision was held for the coaches of the program “Children and War: Teaching Recovering Techniques”. The project manager and psychologist Irina Sukhova and psychologist Alexei Sukhov visited schools #72, #73 and the Juridical Lyceum. After training for psychologists in October of this year, the methodology “Children and War” is now taking place in Odessa simultaneously in six groups for children from different schools. Boys and girls are learning new stress management skills with interest, working through their fears and nightmarish dreams. They learn to express their emotions and share their stories with peers and coaches. This is not always easy, but the atmosphere in the groups has confidence. And the guys do it all!

We would like to express special gratitude to the group coordinator in Odessa, Galina Enikeeva, and our partners from the Commonwealth Center for Assistance to Forced Migrants!

Thank you for your cooperation and your caring hearts!
