On May 25, the annual training “Breakthrough” was held for volunteers of the “HOPE Worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation. This is how we usually end the school year together to take stock of the work done, “reboot”, share experiences, share impressions, play, relax, be filled with new ideas and resources for the future. This year, Nikolay Shut, who was already beloved by volunteers, was with us – a game skills coach, teacher, children’s composer, poet, author of books, creator and host of entertainment and training programs and just an amazing person. How did it go, you ask? Fine! We were in a beautiful picturesque place of Kiev, in nature, in Vinogradarsky Forest, where we played all day, joked, laughed, and even a little rain did not interfere with us! But we played, of course, with meaning! The participants learned to be one in the team, trained to hear, listen and support the leader and made sure that everyone is important in the team! Fought with the “volunteer burnout”! How? Through self-love and awareness of self-worth and acceptance of oneself, through each other’s praise, humor and support! They also noticed talents and strengths in themselves and in the members of their teams, and spoke of them sincerely, generously and with a smile – there is so much energy and resources in it! Well, thanks to all the organizers and participants of the holiday, and we wish volunteers a great summer holiday and see you in September!
