In the framework of the project ” Helping Hand for Ukraine” children’s and parental therapeutic groups in the school of the village Grodovka of the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region are finishing their work. Classes are conducted by Svetlana Kagan and Valentina Kozhushko – coaches certified under the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques”, the employees of the Center for Psychosocial Rehabilitation NaUKMA Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. In the classroom, children and adults continue to get acquainted with new techniques and methods that will help them to control their traumatic memories and teach them to overcome their fears, get rid of nightmares.
Funds for therapy in the Donetsk region were collected during the charity concert “Gala of HOPE”, which was held in June 2017 in Zurich (Switzerland) by the Charity Foundation “HOPE worldwide Zurich” and the ensemble “u l t r a s c h a l l”.
