On November 11, 2015, the training for social workers within the Phase II of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” International Relief Project of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” and “HOPE worldwide of Canada” started in Cherkasy.
During three days the participants will learn how to use “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” program in their work with children, traumatized by war in Eastern Ukraine. “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” has been developed in frames of cooperation between the Center for Crisis Psychology (Bergen, Norway) and the Institute of Psychiatry (London, Great Britain), and has been translated and adapted by the experts from Ukrainian Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Lviv, Ukraine).
The training is conducted by two experienced trainers – Iryna Sukhova, project coordinator and psychologist at “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” and Nataliya Podolyak, practicing psychologist and psychotherapist at “Dobrobut” Medical Network.
We congratulate the project team with the start of Phase II and wish the participants inspiration and successful learning!
