On November 18, the volunteers of our Foundation conducted a first meeting of the Girls’ Club at the Kyiv boarding school #15 for children with poliomyelitis sequelae and cerebral palsy. During the meeting the volunteers got a chance to get to know the children, and the children learned a lot about the rules of the club.
The host of the event together with its participants created a new name for the club. During one hour the participants communicated a lot. Children also created the bracelets which would serve as a proof of membership in the club. Olena Hudz, the project coordinator, was present at the first meeting.
For the short period of time the volunteers managed to create a friendly and cozy atmosphere between the participants. The second meeting will introduce girls to the basic knowledge of nail care and manicure.
