On November 28, the team of psychologists of the “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation conducted a first “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy session for IDP children and parents (internally displaced persons) who currently live in Kyiv. The session was held on the premises of the “Sofia Kyivska” National Reserve. 10 children and 9 parents participated in the session. More children are to join the group. The next therapy session will take place on Saturday, December 05.
Therapy sessions are conducted with the aim of providing psychological assistance to children, traumatized by war in Eastern Ukraine. The course is implemented within Phase II of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” International Relief Project. Organizational support has been provided by Humanitarian HQ of the “All-Ukrainian Organization for IDPs”.
