On January 27-29, 2017 the team of psychologists-trainers of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation held the “Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” training in Sloviansk (Donetsk region). Among the participants were 19 students and professors of Donbas State Pedagogical University. The university has been a local partner of the Foundation and has provided organisational support for the training event.
The training is the first event within Phase V of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” International Relief Project which started in January 2017. It is implemented by “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation with the financial support from Canadian charitable organizations including “HOPE worldwide Canada”. The next training event is to take place in Kharkiv on February 17-19, 2017.
