The course of “Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy sessions has been held in Slavyansk; it was hosted by the Donbas Pedagogical University. The therapy for 56 participants in four therapy groups was conducted by students who were trained last year and can now hold the therapy sessions and help their colleagues and friends. In particular, during the therapy participants learned to deal with their fears, share horrible memories about events during wartime and peaceful life, learned to overcome distrust and anxiety. Therapy courses in Slovyansk were conducted within the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, implemented by “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Foundation, with the financial support of “HOPE worldwide Canada” international charity organization.
