The “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project team members, Iryna Sukhova and Olga Shikalova, participated in the advanced training at the International Interdisciplinary Assembly on “Post-Traumatic Stress: Adults, Children and Families in the Situation of the War”, held December 8-10, 2017 in Kyiv.
The event was organized by the Polish Academy of Sciences (Kyiv branch) and the East European Institute of Psychology (Ukraine-France). Among the speakers and leading master classes of the Assembly were well-known foreign and domestic experts in this area: Iryna Manokha, Director of the East European Institute of Psychology (Ukraine-France); Serhiy Bohdanov, Director of the Center for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine); Oleksandr Voznyuk, PhD in pedagogical sciences, professor of the department of preschool education and pedagogical innovations of Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University (Ukraine); Iryna Serhiyenko, PhD in Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, Deep Correction and Rehabilitation of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Cherkasy National University (Ukraine); body therapist Galit Serebrenick-Hai (Israel); specialists Dr. Jan Wilk, Mgr. Iwona Manos, Mgr. Beata Staniszewska (Poland) and others.
