Within the framework of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project the chairs were purchased for the NGO “Assembly of Peace and Creativity” (Odesa). The activities of the organization are directed at provision of the psychosocial support for residents of Odesa and IDPs who live in the city.
It should be noted that in October-December 2017, the “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation in cooperation with the NGO “Assembly of Peace and Creativity” organized the “Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” training for school psychologists in Odesa, and conducted therapy sessions for IDP parents and children currently living in the city. In addition, therapy sessions were held in 11 schools of the city and 129 school children received professional psychological assistance.
