On April 6, the Donbass Pedagogical University, which is located in Slavyansk, Donetsk Region, hosted a supervisory meeting for participants in the February training program on “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques”. Students, practicing psychologists and organizers came to the event. Many of them have already completed group classes for children in Slavyansk, and some are still being conducted. Each of those present was able to share his experience and ask pressing questions to the program coaches Irina and Alexey Sukhov who came from Kiev. The meeting participants focused on the intricacies of some practical exercises, and also discussed the benefits and possibilities of healing traumatized children through the “Children and War” program. The event was held in the framework of the project “Helping Hand for Ukraine”.
