On November 21, supervision of the classes “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” in the public organization “PROMIR” of Slavyansk, Donetsk Region. Psychologists of the project “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project Irina and Aleksey Sukhovs from Kiev came to encourage the coaches. Employees of the Public Association “PROMIR” conduct individual psychological consultations and many support programs for local residents; they do a great job for the city and those in need who have suffered from the war in eastern Ukraine. And the program “Children and War” also turned out to be very important and necessary here. Now two groups are simultaneously running at the organization’s premises: children’s and parents’s. Coaches Yulia Kozinets and Elizaveta Klimenkova work with the nursery, and Polina Startseva and Daria Parshintseva work with the parent. Children were sent to classes by the social services of the city, many guys came from families with difficult life circumstances, so the coaches in the group have a very difficult time. But they show a lot of patience and wisdom, therefore, participants feel caring for themselves and work on changes in the hope of the best.
