The first training for trainers within “Helping Hand for Ukraine” joint charity project of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation and “HOPE worldwide of Canada” took place in Kyiv on May 22-24, 2015. Ten practicing psychologists and psychotherapists participated in the training.
The training has been conducted by the two professional trainers-psychologists – Ms. Lyubov Loriashvili, practicing psychologist, leading specialist at Kyiv City Center of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth and Ms. Nataliya Podolyak, trainer of “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” program, practicing child psychologist and family psychotherapist at “Dobrobut” Medical Network. The participants learnt how to use “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” program in their work with traumatized children, particularly with those traumatized by war in the Eastern Ukraine.
