An amazing trip to the boarding school in Mostyshche village took place few days ago. This time a professional photographer Ihor Pyshkin joined the volunteers. Together they conducted a real photosession for kids. The children prepared thoroughly – they decided to wear traditional Ukrainian costumes and everyone got a chance to be a star. While the kids from primary schools were photographed, the volunteers conducted two master-classes for older youngsters. After the training, one of the volunteers, Andriy Hurin, continued to talk about being independent over tea. Meanwhile Tetyana Tovkach and Yulia Barabash conducted a workshop on egg painting (“pysankarstvo”) and wreaths weaving. The kids were excited, although not everyone knew why people make ‘pysankas’ for Easter and why they celebrate this holiday. The children are getting used to the volunteers. They always ask when the volunteers visit them again.
