Classes under the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” were conducted with the children from the 7th grade of school №2 Lisichansk, Luhansk region in April-May 2021 by three trainers – Olga Mormel, Anastasia Semivolkova and Ellada Kravchenko. Young specialists taught their group members techniques for overcoming intrusive memories and fears, told them about avoidance and how it happens, practiced breathing exercises and muscle relaxation exercises with them. Children painted and learned to deal with their fears and nightmares, had lively conversations with coaches about past feelings and made plans for the future. And in between work, everyone danced to music and drank tea with sweets. Everyone has done a difficult, but very important and valuable work on themselves!
