In July 2021, classes under the “Children and War” program were held at the “Perlina Donetskchini” children’s health camp (Svyatogorsk, Donetsk region). The trainers of the program Kristina Kravchenko and Larisa Sushko studied with the children. A huge number of children of different ages came to the camp to strengthen their health, relax, be filled with impressions, and 27 of them at the same time were able to heal their emotional wounds there. In a confidential, warm, playful training atmosphere, these guys studied the effect of stress on the human body, learned what wounds a traumatic event can cause, were able to open up and talk about their pain, choose a self-help technique and method that would be most suitable for them personally in their unique situation. The children really liked the training. At the end, they shared that the meetings became a place for them where they could be themselves, without masks and pretense that everyone here understood and helped, not only the coaches, but also the participants.
