At the gymnasium №7 in the village of Sirotino, Luhansk region, classes are currently being held under the program “Children and War. Healing techniques ”for three groups of schoolchildren at once. Coaches Svetlana Morgunova and Olga Kostina are working with children from the 4th, 7th and 9th grade. These children suffered from fires in their region last fall and are witnesses to the tragedy. Specialists teach them self-help techniques in stressful and traumatic situations, work with their losses, fears, nightmares, obsessive memories and anxiety. Children become calmer, more open to communication, confident and happy, they “come alive and flourish”. We wish strength and inspiration to our coaches and effective work for the participants!
