Help children overcome the trauma of war

We are raising funds to conduct “Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy groups for children affected by the war.

Every dollar/euro is a step toward the psychological recovery of a child living in wartime conditions.

Charitable contributions will be directed to:

– conducting therapy sessions with children;

– training specialists in the “Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” methodology;

– coordinating the program in regions across Ukraine.

How your donation helps

90 USD / 77 EUR — a full course of psychological recovery for one child (7 group sessions within 7 weeks), which includes: group work and participation, supervision for trainers, educational materials, all necessary supplies and an individual therapeutic kit for a child to use after completion of the course).

35 USD / 30 EUR — a therapeutic kit for one child (art materials, a backpack, a blanket, a book, and other useful items) is given after the course so the child can continue practicing with a sense of care and support.

15 USD / 13 EUR — stationery and handout materials for one child to use during 7 group sessions within the course, which makes the sessions meaningful and engaging.

The “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project has been implemented since 2015.
