On May 18 in Slavyansk, Donetsk region, certificates were awarded to the coaches of the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques”. Among the new 15 specialists are students of the Donbass State Pedagogical University and practicing psychologists of the city. Thanks to their efforts, classes for 102 children and 30 parents were taught in schools and psychosocial care centers. We are grateful for the cooperation to the centers “Caritas” and “ProMir” from Slavyansk, the church “Renaissance” from the village Nikolaevka, and also to the schools of Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Bogorodichny. Special thanks to the staff of the Donbass State Pedagogical University – this is the third such event at the base of the university, when psychologists of the project “Helping Hand for Ukraine” of the “HOPE Worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation organized a training for their colleagues and shared their experience in conducting lessons on the method “Children and War”.
We wish new coaches professional growth, health and, of course, peace in our Ukrainian land!
