In March 2020, within the framework of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, a supervisory trip of psychologists of the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” by Irina and Aleksei Sukhovs to Lugansk and Donetsk regions. In the Luhansk region, specialists visited with coaching the trainers of the Chmyrovskaya rural school (Valentina Pronka and Liliya Bobyleva) and the trainers of school No. 5 of Severodonetsk (Irina Bernatskaya and Victoria Tikhonova). On a friendly visit, they paid a visit to their partners from the Education Department of the Starobelsky District State Administration, meeting with its Head – Natalia Kolesnikova, and also visited the Popasnyansky district center for social rehabilitation of disabled children “Leleka” in the city of Gorskoye, which is not far from the demarcation line. Psychologists Irina Zhadik and Lyudmila Romanenko work there. They managed to visit Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. There Irina and Aleksey Sukhovs supported the trainers Tatyana Belobrova and Kristina Kravchenko, who are already holding the seventh group (!) in their city. Unfortunately, the announcement of quarantine and the closure of schools unexpectedly interrupted the trip of our Kiev specialists, but they convey greetings and support to all coaches and partners from the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. Over the five years of cooperation in the “Helping Hand for Ukraine”, we have developed excellent and fruitful relationships.
