The “Children and War: Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy course for children, traumatized by military actions in Eastern Ukraine, and their parents (IDPs) started in the beginning of April in Kyiv Secondary School #93 within Phase V of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project. 11 pupils who moved to the capital after the beginning of military actions in Eastern Ukraine and their parents learn the unique methodology of overcoming the consequences of stress and post-traumatic disorders. They are practicing the techniques that continually showed the results and were tested in many countries. The participants of the therapy can use the acquired skills of psychological self-assistance now as well as in future.
