On November 28, the volunteers of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation conducted two trips to Trypillya boarding school within the frames of within the “Man of the House” project.
Back in October, during the first introductory trip, the volunteers examined the rooms which needed repair and made necessary measurements. Today, thanks to joint efforts of the students and volunteers, the repairs are in full swing. Denys Kikereshko, Oleksandr Bohomolov, Vitaliy Batrun, Vitaliy Fedyuk, and Vitaliy Selivanov were in the volunteers’ group.
The working meeting started with a lesson on the basics of electricity, conducted by Oleksandr Bohomolov. Denys Kikereshko brought a screwdriver and installed a door latch to the main entrance door. Vitaliy Batrun monitored prices of construction materials. Vitaliy Fedyuk took responsilibity for cleaning the rooms.
Vitaliy Selivanov together with the students’ team continued their hard but useful work. After lunch the working team divided into three groups of two students each. Two groups were assembling metal studs for plasterboard walls, and the third one ‘prepared’ the walls: they cleaned the surface from chalky coating and put primer coating on it. The working day ended at 4.20 p.m.
