On December 19, the volunteers of “”HOPE worldwide Ukraine”” Charity Foundation held a festive concert in Kyiv Nursing Home for Labor Veterans (Kyiv, Zhukova st., 2). The concert was dedicated to the New Year and Christmas celebrations.
It was a long-awaited event for many volunteers and residents of the nursing home. They were looking forward to the concert with great patience and hope. The concert became the first sign of Christmas both for volunteers and 42 hearts in the nursing home who strived for love, understanding and compassion. A bright star lightened the hearts of labor veterans, people with special needs, and veterans of the Second World War with faith in better future.
The concert program included Christmas carols by children’s quintet and solo, opera singing, intimate solo of Iryna Pavlenko and songs of Denys Shpak. The audience kept applauding and shouting “Bravo!”
The guests were treated with sweets, and everyone could make a photo near the Christmas tree (huge thanks to Andriy Holovakha!). The residents of the nursing home also received presents: 100 porcelain cups and cosmetic creams. We express our sincere gratitude to the volunteers who organized the event!
