On March 11, volunteers of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation visited the pupils from the boarding school in Velykopolovetske village. Right after the arrival the volunteers helped cleaning the territory, inspiring the kids to help their senior friends.
After that everybody was divided by age groups: as a part of the “Art-Saloon” project a workshop of crafting greeting cards in quilling technique was conducted; preschool kids talked about the creation of the world; participants of the “Superbook Club” learnt to trust the God and to fight their fears by the example of David and Goliath; high school pupils as well as participants of the “Women Club” dealt with the concept of love in its spiritual meaning and its practical application in life. Besides that, the girls mastered basics of cooking learning how to make different sandwiches.
All the programs traditionally ended with a tea party with sweets.
There were also clothes, shoes, accessories, and games which were gathered and passed for the children, and this is what the administration of the boarding school (and of course all the kids) are thankful for.
