On February 22, 2015 the humanitarian aid from Denmark has been delivered to Severodonetsk. Medical equipment (surgery tables and tools, X-ray, beds etc.) and other equipment needed by the hospital was provided by “Global Medical Aid”, headed by Hans-Frederik Dydensborg.
The head of Luhansk oblast Hennadiy Moskal personally met the trucks with aid in Severodonetsk. Medical equipment is necessary for the regional hospital. All hospitals on the territory of anti-terroristic operations work in extremal conditions. Many forced migrants and wounded soldiers are accepted to the hospitals, therefore additional equipment is needed to re-equip the hospital.
Charity foundation “Hope Worldwide Ukraine” has already provided aid to the hospital in Kramatorsk and now in Severodonetsk. Currently we are searching for medical equipment for Artemisvk hospital. All these cities are located on the war front line.
Volunteers are planning to go to Luhansk oblast on February 27 in order to monitor how the equipment is used. We thank everyone who made this humanitarian mission possible: Lesia Erickson, Danish charity foundation “Help Ukrainian Children”, Lesia Lytvynova, Serhiy Berezenko.
