We express our sincere gratitude to the psychologists and volunteers, participants of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, who have just completed a five-day “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” training and already one or two weeks later started working with children and adults. They work with groups, meet individually, and teach everyone in need self-help techniques to overcome obsessive memories, fears, stress, anxiety, and insomnia. The therapy sessions are held in different parts of Ukraine and abroad. Maybe not everything turns out perfectly, sometimes the newly trained instructors have self-doubt, but they definitely have more love in their hearts. And love wins!
More than 200 children and adults have already been able to take a course of 7 “Children and War. Teaching Recovery techniques” therapy sessions and have learned to cope with and overcome the consequences of war trauma.
