The annual training for the volunteers of “”HOPE worldwide Ukraine”” Charity Foundation took place on September 9-10 in Irpin. Over 140 volunteers from different cities of Ukraine: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Odesa, Vinnytsya and Kyiv took part in the training.
The first day included 4 master classes dedicated to working and communicating with the elderly, children with special needs, orphans and people, traumatized by war. Professional trainers, Ruslan Bakhtiev, Lyubov Loriashvili, Maryna Sorokina, Alla Hrishyna, Hulnara Semenova shared their experience and knowledge with participants.
On the second day the topic of volunteering was discussed. Everyone got an opportunity to review and update their goals and motivation for working as a volunteer. We are grateful to Shawn Wooten for the sermon and Maryna Romanenko for the steps of discovering ourselves offered during the training.
