On November 07, the volunteers of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation held another art-therapy workshop for the elderly residing in Kyiv Nursing Home for Labor Veterans (Kyiv, Zhukova st., 2). The participants “”painted”” with different kinds of cereals, creating autumn tree leaves. They made stencils using hot glue and then sprayed cereals on them.
Some of the elderly made the paintings themselves, others required assistance from the volunteers. A lot of art-students came together with volunteers to the nursing home, thus everyone got help while creating their masterpieces. Nataliya Holovakha, art-therapy program coordinator noted that the creative process was very exciting and rewarding for everyone.
