Two “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy groups have been launched in Maryinka (Donetsk region), located directly in the ATO zone. 25 children learn the skills of psychological self-assistance in stress situations related to the military actions.
The sessions are held by psychologists Kateryna Bakhmetyeva and Natalya Mishchenko from the Center of Psycho-Social Assistance “Breath of Hope Mission” in Maryinka. In March they participated in the retreat training and learning course organised by “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” charity foundation within the frames of Phase V of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project.
