In May 2021 in the city of Lisichansk, Luhansk region, classes under the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” were passed. Young coaches Anna Orlova and Tatiana Alekseeva-Polyanichko conducted two groups at school # 26 – for children and their parents. During the sessions, the participants learned about the symptoms of PTSD and the consequences of traumatic events, learned techniques for overcoming fears and stressful situations, and also practiced building friendships and trusting relationships within the group. With each new meeting, both children and adults became more sincere, open, self-confident and positive.
