Classes under the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” in Severodonetsk, Lugansk region. Schoolchildren in grades 8-9 were taught self-help techniques by Irina Shekhavtsova and Victoria Tikhonova. Interestingly, the classes of this group started back in February 2020, but due to quarantine they had to be interrupted, and only in September they resumed. To begin with, we repeated and worked through all the material covered, and then we enjoyed studying and practicing new techniques, playing, communicating, working with our difficult memories, drawing the “Ladder of Fear”, step by step overcoming what is so difficult to cope with. At the last lesson, the children thanked the coaches for interesting exercises, funny games, useful advice and were delighted with the bright gifts that were presented to them as a keepsake from the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project. We wish the guys inner peace and a peaceful sky over their heads!
