November 6, 2018 at the Institute of Philology (Kiev) a competition of social projects of academic groups was held. The event was aimed at uniting socially active youth in the actualization of important issues for society. The competition was attended by 18 teams of the Institute, which proposed important ideas for Ukrainians to solve social projects. Among them: “Grinchenko for Eko”, “New Home for 4paws”, “Ray of Happiness”, “Let`s Make Kiev Parks the most Beautiful”, “Auction of Goodness”, “World without Plastics – Green Earth”, “We Can Do It”, “Hospital Libraries”, “Help – it`s important! ”, “Enlightenment Workshop”, “Kind Heart”, “KOTOHELP”, “BookBox”, “Integration of older people into modern information society”, “Four paws”.

The jury of the competition included: Tatiana Chernyavskaya – head of the project “Day of Hope” at the “HOPE Worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation, Karina Manzhay – project manager of the public organization “Divovizhny”, Anastasia Trofimchenko – public figure, major-esaul of the public organization “United Kozatstvo of Ukraine ”, the former president of the of Students` self-government Council and a graduate of the Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University.

The contest was sponsored by the “HOPE Worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation, “Dmitro Golovko and Partners” Law Company (a representative of the sponsor was a lawyer Irina Klepikova), “Divovizhny” public organization.

The winners of the competition are: 1st place – the team of the group FAB-1-17-4.0d with the project “KOTOHELP”; 2nd place – the team of the group of the National Welfare Fund 1-18-4.0d with the project “Hospital Libraries”; 3rd place – a team of groups FUB-1-17-4.0d and FUB-2-17-4.0d project “Kind Heart”. The prize of spectator sympathies was received by the team of the group FKB-1-18-4.0d for the project “The World without Plastic – Green Earth”.

All participants according to the results of the competition of social projects were awarded by a respected jury. The winners of the competition received certificates, valuable gifts, certificates for the possibility of free internship in a public organization. Congratulations to the winners and we wish you successful implementation of the submitted projects!
