After the training for psychologists, which took place on September 14-16 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region within the framework of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, the trained specialists got down to business! Despite the quarantine and the corresponding restrictions in schools, they found the opportunity to organize group classes under the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques” to teach students self-help techniques. During the meetings, all safety rules established in each specific school are observed: children disinfect their hands, stay at a safe distance from each other, put on masks, if required by the leadership of the educational institution. But this does not at all hinder the creation of an atmosphere of trust, openness, mutual respect and support in the classroom. One of these groups takes place at school # 9 in the city of Kramatorsk. Coaches – Yana Portanenko and Alena Prikhodko. Thank you for passing on the acquired knowledge and experience to children who really need it!
