On January 16, in Odessa, in the framework of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, certificates were handed over to the coaches of the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques”. Ten school psychologists and social teachers were trained under the program in October 2018, after which 71 school-age children received psychological assistance. Among these children are children from families of IDPs and families of LSS, as well as children whose parents fought in eastern Ukraine. At the event, trainers shared their experiences in group sessions and the positive changes that occurred with the children during therapy. In a warm, homely atmosphere of a meeting with a cup of tea, they were happy to recall how the children happily resorted to classes and were ready to communicate with them on very deep and complex topics. Congratulations to all the coaches with excellent results and wish them continued success in their work!
