On February 19, “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” volunteers took another trip to Velykopolovetske boarding school. The volunteers spent time with kids at the “Superbook Club” meeting, discussing an issue of trust in a game format. The volunteers-conductors took children on the Trust Train ride. Each “”station”” was a special place where children learned to trust their close ones, trust each other and trust God. The journey ended at the “restaurant-carriage” where everyone enjoyed their handmade cake.
The participants of the “Learning about God” meeting studied the Bible lesson about “David and Goliath”. The aim of the lesson was to show children how much inner power can a person get having connection with God. Basing on the historical facts and personal life stories the volunteers told how God fights for true believers, and how miracles happen. The teenagers participated in the discussion projecting these insights onto their daily routine.
At the same time the members of the “Art-Salon” enjoyed water-coloring. And they did it not only with brushes, but also with their palms! And the youngest were making knick-knackery of salty dough. We are happy that there are new volunteers in our team, who have passionate hearts and are eager to serve the children!
