At the end of 2020, the next stage of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project has come to an end. The result was 17 groups (over 250 hours of therapy), conducted under the program “Children and War. Teaching Recovering Techniques”, in which more than 180 children and 30 adults took part and mastered self-help techniques. The special value of the project is a new team of trainers who not only underwent training, but under the guidance of supervisors and experienced psychologists conducted 5 groups for children and adults in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. Despite the quarantine and self-isolation breaks, the members of these groups selflessly fought with their intrusive memories and fears, learned to think positively and mastered practices that will be useful to them now and in the future. On December 22, new trainers received certificates and are now ready to actively get involved in the work. Special guests of this New Year’s Eve meeting were psychologists who have been working with the Children and War program in Kramatorsk for several years. They shared their impressions, experiences, comic stories with their colleagues and wished each other health and peace! Please accept our congratulations, dear ones! We wish you good results!
