On March 10-12, 2017 the partners of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project from Maryinka, Donetsk region – psychologists Kateryna Bakhmetyeva and Natalia Mishchenko, visited Kyiv. Together with project psychologists from Kyiv they participated in the learning and entertaining program. Several master-classes and workshops were held within the frames of the program: “Tiredness of Compassion” (conducted by Ira Sukhova), “Resources Renewal and Recovery Techniques” (Maryna Sorokina), “Film-Therapy” (Nataliya Podolyak).
The guests also had an opportunity to go to a theatre and walk around the city. One of the participants, Kateryna Bakhmetyeva, noted “the program was very interesting and full of new methods and techniques. We really rested and learned a lot during this visit. I thank organisers for their support in planning and further organization of “Children and War” trainings. This is valuable for me personally and also for children and parents we work with in Maryinka”.
