During the period from May 25 till July 17, the course of 7 therapy sessions within Phase III of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project was held in Chornomorsk. Therapy was conducted by psychologists-volunteers, participants of the “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” training, which took place in Odesa in spring this year.
The psychologists worked with children traumatized by war in Eastern Ukraine and occupation of Crimea, and their parents (IDPs). Among psychologists-volunteers who worked with the group of children aged 9-10 years old – were experts from the city Centre for Social Services for Children, Family and Youth. The financial support to conduct trainings in Odesa region was granted by Ukrainian Credit Union (Canada).
