On July 10-17, 2016 within the frames of Phase III of the “Helping Hand for Ukraine” project, psychologists held “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” therapy course for IDPs children from Luhansk region in Mykolayiv.
The course consisting from seven therapy sessions was held by trainers-volunteers, who took part in “Children and War. Teaching Recovery Techniques” trainings in Odesa in March-April this year. Among them were volunteers of “Blaha Diya” (Good Deed) Charity Foundation Nataliya Husyeva, Svitlana Tkachuk and others.
Therapy sessions were conducted for two age groups, 9-12 and 14-16 years. In total 20 children participated in therapy sessions. At the end of the course they shared impression about techniques efficiency and results of the program that exceeded their expectations.
